I have recently found a place in Norfolk called Settle via good old instagram. I actually stumbled across their feed whilst I was in isolation locked in my bedroom waiting for my Covid test results. I immediately booked a two night stay. We are not planning on doing anything apart from switching off and taking in some new scenes. At Settle they have a few repurposed railway carriages, a boutique cabin all based on a 30 acre of parkland.
Daylesford is another firm favourite of mine and not too far away from where I live. The cottages are set in 2,500 acres of beautiful countryside. The decor is inspiring and you are only a few steps away from the beautiful Daylesford Farmshop.
Happy Valley based in Norfolk was a recommendation from a friend of mine called Toni and I must admit this looks right up my street. They have a mixture of shepherd huts, tree temples, bell tents and luxury, woodland lodges. I just love the idea of a complete self contained getaway right now. Fresh air, waking up to new walks and beautiful scenery.
One of my best friends owns these stunning holiday homes on the island of Bryher. A dreamy escape to the Isles of Scilly where a slower pace of life awaits you. My friend Sarah has a choice of three cottages for you to choose from and they are all decorated beautifully. The beaches and scenery are all dreamy too ..
