How to create a home with more wholeness

How to create a home with more wholeness

Weirdly, I changed up my shop in February before Covid but it couldn't have felt more appropriate and much needed.

For myself, 2020 was always going to be about creating more wholeness. Tapping into every aspect of life to create more balance, enjoying our homes as a sanctuary and creating a space that has true meaning, rather than just the latest 'rug'.

With so many of us now spending more time than ever in our homes, we want to help you create a real sanctuary - a space where you can really enjoy FEELING good in your home and a more considered and sustainable environment that we can feel good about. Our home should be the place where we feel the safest and we can be our truest selves.

Creating yourself a space where you can switch off and really relax is so good for your wellbeing. I am lucky enough to have a meditation room in my home but you could do this in a corner of your bedroom.

We often over complicate things and it can be as simple as introducing some beautiful rituals that can help you slow down a bit. I wrote a blog post about crystals in modern homes a few weeks ago. It is believed placing crystals around our homes can alter our energy. You could also try lighting a smudge stick to purify the air.

I have read so many great books this year and, of course, they focus a lot on how our homes have a huge impact on our wellbeing. The colours we choose, the objects we display, the amount of light that seeps into our rooms, having real plants in the room to help keep our air clean. The scents we choose to fill our rooms with and the pictures we display on our walls can have a huge influence on our happiness levels.

We have sourced some amazing books that are almost like manuals for embracing slow living and a sustainable lifestyle. We are over the moon to introduce you to them.
